At this point you know, as Estonian Police and Border Guard Board website says, that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>e-Residency is a transnational digital identity available to anyone in the world interested in administering a location-independent business online. e-Residency enables to use secure and convenient digital services that facilitate credibility and trust online.&nbsp;<strong>Please be aware that e-Residency does not confer citizenship, tax residency, residence or right of entry to Estonia or to the European Union. It is not a visa or residence permit.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fees and what you need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First of all you must know that the e-Residency fee is 120\u20ac, well if you can travel to Estonia to pick-up is only 100\u20ac. Moreover you must visit an Estonian embassy to pick-up the e-Residency card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for e-Residency you need also:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A copy of your government-issued ID<\/li><li>A passport-style digital photo<\/li><li>Your motivation statement \u2014 A written paragraph about your reasons for applying, which is used by the Police and Border Guard Board in their assessment of your application<\/li><li><strong>Choose a pick-up location. Very important nowadays because the Coronavirus. Visit this <a href=\"https:\/\/e-resident.gov.ee\/become-an-e-resident\/#available-pick-up-locations\">webpage<\/a> to find them. Read carefully these <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.e-resident.gov.ee\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360000624298-Pickup-locations-FAQ\">FAQs<\/a> before to apply for it.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want more information or ask some specific question about a pick-up location you can send them an e-mail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I sent an e-mail to two Estonian embassies before to choose the pick-up location. These are the subjects of these e-mails:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Your application for the e-Resident&#8217;s Digi-ID has been received<\/li><li>Your application for the e-Resident&#8217;s digital ID has been accepted for processing<\/li><li>E-Resident&#8217;s digital ID \u2014 e-Residency granted<\/li><li>e-Resident card (and the translation to the pick-up location language)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Read the e-mails carefully and when your card arrives to pick-up location, ask for an appointment to avoid possible issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"387\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/erjourney.globalspark.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/e-Residency-kit-1024x683.jpeg?resize=580%2C387&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-65\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, once you picked-up your card, you will receive an e-mail telling you that your card is activated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Your e-Resident&#8217;s digital ID has been activated<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>When these steps are done you are an e-Resident.
